Great value but a little dissapointing!!
This machine is sold at a great price no matter where you wish to look. I run a small business from home and quite honestly have been a little disappointed in what this machine is able to do compared to the raves about it in the online description.
This machine will not punch through ten sheets of 80gm paper!! Five pages is it's limit otherwise it will jam and you will have some difficulty removing the partially punched paper from the punching slot.
I didn't even bother punching multiple front and back covers after the problems with the paper punching.
But overall, for the money spent and for the amount of time this machine may save you in the compilation of small booklets, if used within it's limitations is ..a great machine, thank you Deals Direct.

Don't rely on reviews!
Whilst the product is indeed as described in the product description, do not let the product reviews sway your decision. For the price paid, it is a great, light duty machine and works well. The negative aspect of our purchase is that based on numerous reviews, we believed there was a starter kit of binding supplies included. Don't be deceived, as this is not the case.There is no starter kit.

Does a great job. Only trouble I found was with trying to punch through the outer covers. It takes several attempts to get through. Definitely won't go through 10 sheets of 80gsm paper. Any more than 5 was putting too much strain on the machine. Overall good purchase. Has made my presentations to clients that much more professional.

Confirming the reviews I read, this is a great buy and with the Comb Binding Kits I bought at the same time made an economical way to bind all sorts of projects.
It has been useful for binding information I collect in my illustration & graphic businesses, making my paperwork more organised. I also used plain paper to make sketchbooks for myself and the kids.
Highly recommended!

If this binding machine was a person I would nominate it for the Mr Awesome 2009 award. It works excellently and produces a professional, high quality finish that is sure to impress the socks off all your friends/colleagues/enemies that don't have one of these awesome machines. Make sure you regularly empty the clippings tray to avoid it getting jammed full with all the bindings you will certainly be doing, and check your binding margin carefully and you will have a great time showing off your ultimate supreme orgainsationalness in the workplace.

Good value for money, its very basic to use,no hassle, fast delivery, I started to use this moachine when I received the first day, just for fun, and testing, then I started binding the document and kids project, and study notes, makes it very neat and organised

I bought this product 6 mths ago and since then it has been a dream. All of my university assignments look professional and I now get top marks. If anyone is having problems using the Binder, then I suggest buying larger spines...this made a big difference to ease of my binding.

The UniMate Comb Binding Machine arrived perfect as described. The only assembly was to attach the handle. It worked the very first go and no problems at all. I was also impressed that we were sent a starter pack of plastic covers, rings and heavy duty backing paper to use straight away. Highly recommended. Excellent for assignments, professional letters etc. High speed delivery (as always). Thanks:-)
