ditto to happyone. I was very impressed at its performance. and I also thought my carpets were clean, what a shock. It also fluffed up my shaggy pile aswell. I looked at the Good Guys and Godfreys, both were around the $199 upwards mark, and their shampooer only did shampooing. This unit triples as a vacuum as well as a hand held unit. Triple bonus for your money. Terrific value for money once again.

Excellent Online Purchase
Really, really pleased with my new Sheffield Carpet Cleaner. Cleans well and I can do the job when it suits, rather than having a time limit when hiring a carpet cleaner.
Very good value for the money. Excellent delivery service as well especially taking into account it had to come to Darwin.

Very impressed with this appliance. Can't go wrong for the price of it. I'm stoked with how easy it is to use and how well it works. Was amazed at the dirt it sucked up and how much water it removed from the carpet (and my carpet is long and thick). Overall very happy :) thanks deals direct!

Worth every cent!
Excellent machine. Better than I expected. Great suction leaves the carpet only slightly damp. I was shocked at the dirt it picked up. I actually made a mistake with the solution tank. I thought it was a 1 litre tank and therefore used only half the solution! Still did a great job. The convenience for me is that I can clean just 1 room at a time and not have to reorganize my whole house for a professional to come in. Very pleased.

I bought this item after read all the good review and hoping that i can also give a 5star for this product. it arrived 2 days after i bought it online. Used it twice and really dissapointed with the result :(
It has no real suction at all.. i have to pick up the dirt from the floor and also when i want to make my carpet looks clean and nice.. water everywhere.. my carpet is wet..... -_-"

Better than expected
After reading every review I decided to buy this Cleaner and am so happy with it. It has paid for itself after one use. You must read the instructions and follow exactly. Only problem is it is a bit heavy for my shoulders.

Impressive Cleaner
I bought this cleaner from DD about 6 months ago and have used it on carpets, lounge suite and car seats to check how well it works before doing a review.
I am impressed. The small hand held cleaner it great for small spills on carpets, perfect for the lounge suite (which came up cleaner than any so-called 'professional' cleaners ever did) and easy for the car seats.
The large cleaner also works extremely well and the dirt it manages to suck out is a bit of an embarrassment.
This unit has already paid for itself several times over.
All good and highly recommend.

Beats the Opposition - Hands Down
Have had this unit for some months now.
Could not be happier. I had previously had the carpets cleaned 'professionally' by a National operator - very disappointed.
Could not believe what this unit removed 'after' they did their job.
I use 'Peerless Pro - Carpet Extraction Shampoo' obtained from Bunnings.
Works a treat.
Hint - take your time - let it do the work - watch the results on the vacuum cycle and be impressed - a second run over the area does wonders.
Initially concerned about the water left behind - my comparison of water 'IN' and 'Out' revealed very little left behind to dry. Drying time after cleaning quite short.
Paid for itself after the first use - is easy and very economical to use.

What an amazing cleaner
I live in a company farm house with one rather disgusting carpet in the lounge. I was contemplating getting someone in to clean it for me but because we are out of the way this would have cost $200. After reading the reviews I decided to give the Sheffield a go and I'm so impressed. The carpet looks great - after Chrissy I'll give it another once over and it will look like new. Worth the money!!
I bought this product just over three weeks ago and have absolutely no regrets. Easy to assemble and use.
My carpet is a light beige colour and was going black from mould. It also had a couple of pet stains. Since I'm a renter I was very concerned about getting my bond back when I move; but not anymore! After three uses the carpet is now back to the condition it was when I moved in.
The only thing i'd like to see improved is the detachable 'hand-held' unit - it's not really workable to shampoo upholstery because you have to move the brush by hand and the unit is quite heavy.

I received this in 2 days of ordering and put it straight to work.
It is easy to use and the job is done better then any other carpet cleaner i have ever used or hired. its also on hand now if needed to use when you want or for those spills.The best money saver I have ever brought.
Yes the tanks are a bit small but I think if they where any bigger not everyone would be able to use it as it would be to heavy for some people, it is easy and lite for anyone to use.
I recommend you get your self one today.

So Far so Good, excellent value for money
Well I have just used the cleaner for the first time.
Easy to set up and use, I had no problems and I have a seriously bad back, though I would not do the whole house in one go, it was very easy to push and pull back.

I thought I would test it out on a visibly clean part of our carpet, where until last week we had a cabinett sitting. MMMM should of see the colour of the water YUK...
So I had a go at our hallway, we have a turquoise blue ERKY looking carpet in our house, and it has litterally gone black in the hallway (hubbies fault) we have had it proffesionally cleaned numerous amounts of time to no avail...
WELL......the carpet has lightened from a black sticky looking colour to a very light brown with only 2 goings over, so I would def say it was worth it.
Cannot wait to try it shortly in the dining room where hubby has spilt his coffee...
Excellent product for the money paid, will be super handy to have in the house to use as soon as a spill occurs.

Fantastic!
I bought this after looking at many more expensive options. Based on the reviews, and the fact that it had a an upholstery attachment, I thought it sounded great. I wasn't wrong. I used it today on my rug and cleaned all my dining chairs. So easy to use. My chairs cleaned up really well and my rug looks great. The rug came out pretty dry and all the dirty water was amazing. I am very picky when it comes to cleaning appliances and this product is fabulous. Would recommend to anyone, very happy.

I can not believe how well this little machine works. It is up there with the large heavy machines you hire to DIY carpet clean.
Some handy hints for those people who are looking to buy one.
Use warm/hot water in the filler. To this add one cap of Britex Heavy Duty Carpet Cleaner - sold at Coles and Safeway. This is better than the supplied cleaning fluid as it also has conditioners that soften the carpet as well as a nice scent.
Only pull the water delivery trigger in the forward motion and soak up the water when you pull the machine back. This method will clean an average size room with 1 to 2 tanks of water and not leave the carpet too wet.
Some handy hints for those people who are looking to buy one.

Good Stuff
Used it for the first time today and it has done a brilliant job! Easy to use, got marks off the carpet and cleaned it all really well. Although the 2L tank is small, it does help to reduce the weight and therefore makes it easier to use.

Excellent value
My daughter cleaned my carpets for the first time yesterday, using the solution included in the pack. My carpets had not been cleaned for six months and were needing a clean. The results were amazing, the only drawback was the size of the solution tank being 2 litres as you had to keep filling it up, otherwise 10/10, you can actually see the dirty water going into the tank on the front of the machine. I bought this because of the excellent reviews, so glad I did. It has already paid for itself with one use.

Best item I've ever bought off DD
With kids and pets our large floor rugs cop a lot of dirt, & until recently I thought my Dyson was getting most of the dirt out. But this shampooer drew out not only the overall general staining but even sand. Hot water is a must and the right detergent. It leaves the carpet really soft underfoot. After I ran out of the supplied Sheffield detergent, I bought the Bissell machine shampoo - just check the detergent.to water ratio. . And since then (because I can't resist now quickly washing the rugs regularly), I ordered online bulk I-Extract and Plush solutions that clean & deodorise carpet. So between the cheap price for bulk detergent & the bargain Sheffield machine, I'm way ahead of the hundred$ we used to be charged by a professional carpet cleaner. Plus quick to use, and our rugs are left relatively dry.

A Wow Factor!! :)
Cleans as it should and more. I used to hire a cleaner to do the job but I'm a picky cleaner always do the cleaning twice. But with this product I only need to clean my carpeted room once a month even though it's already cleaned the first time! The dirt and grime it took out even the area you thought its clean. Super dry if you know how to use it according to the instructions.
The vacuum cleaner you can use it on the bed which is handy. Tips: Take your time to read and use it for the first time. You wouldn't be disappointed. Good Luck.

Very pleased
The concept of the sheffield cleaner is what I was used to hiring, so I was keen to own one myself to save hiring and to have it on hand for whenever I needed. I found it good to use as long as you use the back foot peddle and angle the handle to use on an angle rather than directly upright. It used two tanks of solution for my loungeroom and it sucked up two barrels of really dirty water, so I am very pleased.
