Petrol Generator 850VA - Skillmeister
Great value for money. I am using one aboard a boat for odd electrical jobs without having to use shore power. Pretty quiet and compact. Starts virtually first time (with a gentle pull and choke) and being 4 stroke, does not need 2 stroke mix. (Note : Make sure that you don't overfill the engine with oil when FIRST using- check dipstick level BEFORE starting this appliance when new). Would definitely recommend this product as a handy power source when not close to house power.

Good for emergency
After the recent floods in Brisbane, I thought it might be a good idea to keep one of these in the garage in case of blackouts in the future. I tested it with a fridge, a light and a TV all going at the same time, worked perfectly and didn't miss a beat. The price of this is probably about the value of the food I had to toss after we got power back on, not to mention the cost of inconvenience.

interested in how long it runs for on 1.4L

I am keen to find the right generator inverter as back up for small caravan use- possibly LEDTV ,lights and small fridge + small elec stove unit. Can you tell me if this is the right one vs- the other Skillmeister @$99?
