Received this morning...
via courier. After unpacking the vacuum and attaching the hose etc it worked a treat. It's great that it has different modes of suction AND has a 2 year warranty. Good value! I will be buying again from Deals Direct in the future.

Cons: The cord is too short appr 6 metres compared to my previous Sanyo. The wand is short as well apprx 1 metre to the handle. I am only 163 cm tall & tend to bend when I vacuum which then places strain on my back. I also find the hose kinks, the vacuum doesn't seem to follow you unless you vacuum in a straight line.

Exellent Value for Money
I purchased this bagless vacuum cleaner to replace an old Sanyo which had died.
Very impressed with the suction! removed dirt etc the other one had left behind.
Regardless of other reviews this is not too noisy considering it is 2400Watt (the max allowed for V.C's).
However there is a trade off for having a bagless and that is to maintain suction the FILTERS MUST BE CLEANED after use, which is easy enough they can be washed in warm soapy water....
The telescopic wand is a bit short if you are reasonably tall....
But other than that exellent value...

New and improved design
This model has been designed smarter than past models. It is very sleek and secure filters and catchment jug.
I love the way the hose swivels on the connection to the machine. Makes for smooth moving in all directions.
The 7 metre cord is an added 2 metre bonus on most vacuums which have 5 metre cords or less.
Sucks very well and does the job.

Very happy with product
Had a dyson vac for years, this vac is all we need ,twice the power as old one. If you handle with respect will last for years as is not as sturdy as the dyson, but with all the tools and features you would ever want. I would recommend this machine. Very disappointed with the latest dyson as the basic model has no tools for over five times the price of this one . I'm very happy with our purchase.

As good as big brand name vacuums
Suction is better than my brand name vacuum cleaner. Easy to use, has plenty of power. Very cheap, would highly recommend.

Best Purchase Ever
I didn't realise how bad my old vacuum was until I bought this one. It's light weight but has a suction of a heavy duty vacuum. I have a dog so it sucks up any fur that's deep in the carpets. Easy to use and more importantly easy to empty and keep clean!!

Fantastic!
Just had this vacuum cleaner delivered and what a little beauty it is. Straight out of the box - 15 seconds - up and running. Even on "low" suck/power (you can adjust the amount of "suck") it cleaned up all the vacuuming I had waiting in a matter of minutes and did it with ease. Really is great value for money. You also get a spare filter set thus offsetting a future additional cost. Two heads, a revolving one and a normal one as well as 2 crevice tools neatly cliped into the base. The delivery was really fast, ordered on a Friday , delivered on Monday. What more could you want! Outstanding all round!

It is a Genius
I love this Vac, it has the power and I cant believe the storage. The attachments are stored on board, and it does include the small round brush and crevice nozzle, hard to find in a vacuum nowdays
It has decent length power lead, and it is reasonably quiet..

I had high expectations
After reading the reviews, I purchased this. Its OK. Does the job, but not fantastic. I expected a little more. The turbo head is ok, but not as good as the electric ones you can get on slightly more expensive models. I wish I had just gone to the shops and bought one I could try first!

for such a small machine this vacuum is excellent. The carpets are clean the suction is great and its very easy to use. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anybody and i will. For the amount of money you can pay for vacuum's these days this is the best money i have spent for some time.

Best Thing Since ...
I had done a great deal of research on vacs since my trusty VAX2000 died a few weeks ago and here was the Genius 2400 bagless. It is so amazing for such a little and low priced machine. I have four dogs that sleep inside and the turbo head is a little ripper in removing hair from the lounge suite. I feel so embarrassed with the amount of dirt and hair that it picks up each day but also pleased that it cleans so well. I wash the main filter every day so that it runs to maximum potential each time I turn it on. The only down side is that it is a bit noisy but if you can put up with that, then you are on a winner with this one.

Great vacuum cleaner
My order arrived very promptly within a couple of days from ordering. This vacuum cleaner is brilliant - the best one I have purchased over the years and it cleans the carpets so well which I found some of my other vacuum cleaners not doing so well.

for hairless people only
i wrote a review which was negative and hasn't been published. perhaps this one will be... first time round it worked so well i basically invited in the neighbours to have a go! but second time round, the little brush head could not cope with hair on the floor and since then just hasn't worked effectively at all. this is great for bald people or people without carpets. the hard floor attachment is good; the vacuum is good; but it doesn't clean carpets properly which was my main reason for buying. i still prefer it to my other vacuum which used bags but wish it worked as well as it did the first time around. it's not too noisy either.

I was so impressed with the speed of delivery! I ordered it on a saturday, and by wednesday afternoon I was vacuuming the house! It was great! The easy to adjust speed button makes, altering the vacuum for the area simple and easy. Easy to empty and clean the dirt bin, and filters. Very impressed, plus it looks stylish too! Very happy customer!

Great for the price
I'd recommend this vac to anyone! I paid $800 for a Dyson and find this just as good. A bit loud but not to much of a worry. Easy to put together, attachments underneath.. strong suction and nice looking unit. I'm really happy and the price was a fraction of the dyson.
