gr8 refurbed Navigator gps
product delivered quickly, battery holds charge, only minimal marks on screen (have to look hard to notice), great functions for the price

Gets lost easy, Satellite drops out often, some incorrect speed sign postings, some incorrect safety camera positions.
Supposed to be latest update.
Usable, but only just.

Great GPS
Great GPS at a great price from Deals Direct. The instruction book has tiny print and is hard to read and follow, however it's not hard to work out how to use it. A big bonus is the free updated maps, the latest were issued on 9/1/2012 and are easy to download. Initially a little slow to start up but by the time I have backed out of the driveway it is ready to go. Works very well with the exception of speed limit warnings, however these change quite often and some are variable depending on time of day. Best to watch the signs. Very happy with this product.

Cheap and cheerful
Does the job well just fine. Wasn't willing to spend a lot on a GPS unit so this fit the bill. No AC with the refurb unit and seems to lose the charge fairly quickly but not sure if this is normal ..plugs into the lighter and that's fine anyway. First big test to somewhere unfamiliar it was all good and the unit reminded me of the speed limit when I went over (unexpectedly!). It recalculated the trip quickly when I took off with a different start. Quite happy with this device and price.

It Shows The Way
I have found the GPS reliable. It takes a few minutes to start up. It recalculates when you go 'off route' within seconds. It is the cheapest GPS I have seen. The update of maps are free. The instructions are clear and concise.

I found the instructions almost useless for a first timer with a GPS. They are in no logical order re start up and the print is so tiny that it is impossible to read it on the illustrations. I just sat down with the unit and nutted out how to work it. The unit itself works fine and I am pleased with it.

Unable to get the holder to attach to my windscreen, so difficult to use in the car. Had no choice but to send back. Also the speed on the map was incorrect for a road where the speed was changed 6 months ago. Went in to have a look at the free upgrade map, but found it was 2010.

Good value for money on basic product
If you are looking for a basic lead in sat nav that you would use on the odd occasion this is it. Its a little slow off the mark but once up and running perfect. came with mounting bracket home and car charger

Not just a bargain - a treasure!
The Navig8r GPS system has got to be the best product I've bought on DealsDirect since joining! I just couldn't be happier about the look, performance and price. I would certainly recommend Navig8r GPS to anyone who wants to throw away those tattered maps and enjoy the accuracy and convenience of this system.

just as good as the dearer ones
Not only was this cheap but it works better than my wife's navman.
So in the end this cheap gps is a great buy and a breeze to use
and best of all its loaded with so many other features that take's

This unit is great value for money. Within half an hour of opening the package, reading starting instructions, I was able to start entering destinations and options (after the 24 hour initial charging period). Simple to use, and has all the essential features of expensive brands, and NO annual map update fee!
