Kids Loved
I bought two of these, my kids loved them. Unfortunately they are fragile as one did get broken by my son. But if looked after are a good buy. The other one my daughter has is still alive.

This Plasma Ball was a fantastic purchase, unfortunatley it got broken accidentley by my 8 year old daughter. they a quite fragile, the glass is quite thin, but if kept away from children its sure to last.

Looks cheaper than these images appear. Sometimes stops working and needs to be switched on/off to restart.
Probably worth it to spend a few dollars more and get a really good quality one from a shop.

I have had my Plasma Ball for 12months now. I am very happy with it. Does attrack lots of attention from vistors. Works well as a lamp. Although must put in a safe place away from tiny hands OR pets so as not to get knocked over.

How can it not be good?
So, is it worth it.. it could be brighter, But yes.. and it has an AUDIO setting when you clap or shout etc.
Could get it cheaper at a $2 shop!

Great talking point when guests come over, especially the reaction to sounds! I bought one for my friend, which unfortunately doesn't work, but mine has had no problems at all. I'm a little disappointed there isn't more of an explanation how it works and clearer instructions of what's inappropriate use as I wouldn't want it to break - like others said it's got very thin glass.

Love this item can sit and watch it for ages, put it at a height out of reach of the kids as the glass is fragile and would break pretty easily.
