Great investment, glad we brought it :-)
We bought this generator to replace a much smaller one. We use it for camping and as our back up power source for the family home (we live on a property with the occasional black out).
Things that it WILL power: :-)
1. The water pump for the house water suply from our water tank.
2. The fridges (old 390Lt & new 250Lt) and chest freezer (new 250Lt) - NOTE they must be all turned off first to start up generator but it handles fine after that.
3. The tv's, stereo, pc's, laptop, wirless modem, printer..
4. All the lighting.
5. Large inverted split system easily.
6. A small washing machine - strugles with a larger one
7. Tools in my shed Eg. drills, welder, saws.
The hole house hold all at the same time less the items listed below.

1. large hotwater system. we now have solar to solve this.
2. stove/oven. our hooded six burner BBQ fixes this problem.
3. a large normal A/C, it will power a large inverted split system easily.
4. clothes dryer.

Not best purchase ever
I purchased this product to run a 2000 watt chainsaw. The generator is advertised as 2.5 KVA by the maker . It is in fact only a 2kw at 50hz. This is not sufficient to run a 2000 watt machine.

Have had 4 generators in the past and this one has been the best. Starts first time, economical on fuel and is pretty quiet. Highly recommended.
