Glad to have it
I just got a 3 month old puppy. Someone tried to cut her nails and she hated it (and so did i). My Mother in law had the Peti Buffer which unfortunately for her, her adult dog doesn't want anything to do with it. She gave it to me. My puppy is a little nervous but it did get the job done...pain free. I really think if you have a puppy they will eventually get used to the noise. Maybe not so much for adult dogs. But I love it.

I've always had problems cutting my dogs nails and thought this would be the answer. Unfortunately it wasn't. If your dog is afraid of a loud buzzing sound then this product is not for you as I couldn't even get the petibuffer close enough to file his nails. Pretty disappointing.

Love this product. So much easier to maneuver than a clipper, and no danger of overcutting. My pup gets a tad nervous, but hold tightly and securely and offer verbal reassurance whilst using it and there will be no dramas.

Could not use on my 3 Girls (Dogs) they would not Let it Near them and were Scared of the Noise.
Maybe Suitable for other Dogs but not mine.
Wish they would Let me use it as it Seems like a Great Idea.

Hmm, seems like a good idea but the humming noise and feel of vibration really aren't a turn on for my dogs. Can't use it for these reasons. Have gone back to the clippers which they don't like either but are silent and don't vibrate! Great pity. These are small dogs - might be better on a big tough dog.

My dogs do not like this at all.. Its not so much the noise its the vibration on their nails that they dislike.. I am slowly getting them use to it..

The soft nail part broke with one use on a 12 week old puppies nails wouldn't be game enough to use on my 12 year old girls nails wouldn't buy this again.

I read the other Reviews before I purchased this file for my two yappy Chihuahua's. I left it on and made it look like I was doing something to my nails, now not a problem, but you must hold the pets nail that you have in the Buffer, otherwise they get a tingle and that scares them, because it pulls the nail inside further. Great Item.

We have 6 dogs and only 2 will allow us to come near them with the nail file. Doesn't make much noise but definitely scary for a small dog. works well on cats we have 11 of them 4 will let us near them with it the others need to be wrapped in a towel. good product if your pet isn't timid.

My dogs were terrified as the this product is too noisy and 1 of the filing strips came off after only one claw done. I will try to get the dogs use to the item but no guarantee it will work.

A little bit of time and patience and my dogs are now used to the vibration. Works well and is safer than cutting as my dogs have black nails and I cannot see where the blood vessels are.

I have found it easy to use,my dog was a scared at first. I would put it near her and press it on a few times for her to get use to it. She is fine with it now. It does a good job use the guard and use it in short burst.
