Induction is so fast
After using my first induction plate ( it wore out), I could not ever go back to any other Hotplate, so love that you can set a timer and also that the heat is so instantaneous and better than gas. Treat yourself to a great product.

wow....its so fast
Bought this and had never used a conduction cooktop before. Renting and stovetop is slow so thought this a good buy but "WOW" its amazing how quickly it cooks and response time to change is instant. The temperature settings take some working out as they are different for different modes and nothing that resembles a normal cooktop setting (ie 1-5, low/med/high) but with a little practice it is getting easier. It is very easy to burn your food in the beginning.
Like all new technology for me, it is taking time to finesse things but I love it.
First one arrived broken from Aust Post but rang DealsDirect who required photo proof of breakage and replaced no problems. Arrived 2 days later intact. Thank you DealsDirect

Amazingly quick.
Will save on power, and the kitchen stays cooler because of less cooking time. Quicker than gas, really!

Eurolab induction cooker
Absolutely fabulous. Have turned off the solid inbuilt the bench coooktop and using the Eurolab induction cooker. As I only have one cooking implement suitable, I have had to start purchasing new cooking utensils, this time Raco saucepans and lids that have been made especially for all induction cookers. Need to play with the heat settings, but you have the +/- options. Will purchase another when on sale again. Very easy to place at different power points around the kitchen for cooking and easy to store when not in use. Have recommended it to my brother and niece who will also purchase the Eurolab induction cooker.

Fantastic value, great performer.
Bought this as a backup for our existing cooktop when entertaining and using all available cooking surfaces. I can see it becoming a semi- permanent fixture in our kitchen. Very efficient, looks smart and a small 'footprint'. Thanks Guys.

Faulty
Whilst I was very happy with the service and quick response to my email regarding this product, the stove top itself was faulty and was by no means the fault of Deals Direct, they could not have been more helpful.

Great spare hot plate
First one arrived broken in box but was quickly rectified by DD
Quick heat up and easy to adjust the temperature.
Great as a spare hot plate to cook or keep warm at the table.
Would be good for caravan

Eurolab Induction Cooktop
WOW! This is the best kitchen appliance I have ever bought & even better its portable.
I purchased this as I hate my stove top, one of the usual black glass/ceramic ones - it has no heat control, you can not simmer or lower the heat for any length of time because the stupid thing just cycles on & off - the heat ring turns off for 20sec or so then it turns back on at full heat again!!! (thats Westinghouse's idea of turning the temp down lol - hopefully they have improved these days!) As a result I purchased electric woks, frypans etc and have been using those instead of the cooktop.
But this has solved my problems. The temp control is amazing it goes from boil to simmer in seconds & vice versa. So far have cooked steaks, stirfry, prawn laksa, gravies, boiled corn, fried eggs - there is a cake temp option that I hope to use though I never knew you could bake a cake on a cooktop?!!! Anyone tried it???? And its portable, we have taken it to the local park as the bbq's there have electricity sockets & used it to fry eggs on while the meat etc cooked on the bbq plate.
There are only two things that could be improved on this - a 'cook anything' single button for temp control, as is, you need to select one of the set options to start cooking then you can adjust temp up or down.
The other thing would be make the cooking ring larger (it only takes pans up to 26cm). A double cooking ring would be fantastic as well.
I love love love this, it is great value even at full price & wish I had of purchased it sooner. I had pots that were already 18/10 stainless steel & a wok thats carbon steel but needed to purchase an induction frypan/skillet & I bought a cast iron grill pan so I can get those nice lines across the steak lol.
Shop around you don't need to spend a fortune - the 24cm Raco non stick/oven proof frypan cost me $30 on sale & the grill pan is Classica & I paid $32 retail price is $200. Both were bought on line.
If your trying to decide to buy it or not I say Do It Now, you wont regret it.

Great product if you have the right pots
This produce looks great but if you dont have the right pots it won't work. I had to purchase new cookware so I could use it. If you have stainless steel or iron cookware it is fabulous fast and economical.

Great Little cooker
What a great little cooker!
It heats up much faster than my gas stove and the heat is easy to regulate.
First time I used it I couldn't believe it when I could boil a pot of water in no time

Limitations
with the right utensils it certainly heats OK.
Unlike cooking with gas, the heat cycles on/off similar to that of a thermostat on an electric frypan, not always practicable for low heating.
When using a cast iron frypan,it will only operate continuously on a medium heat or less, when trying to use higher heat choices it switches off.Indicating it is overheating.
Easy to clean

A little gem.
I am very pleased with this little hotplate. It heats instantly and cooking pasta and rice is so easy. I would have liked more information in controlling temperatures and recipe booklet would also have been helpful.
Nevertheless it was a great buy and delivery was swift.

Good while it lasted.
I purchased 3 of these units. They were fine whilst they worked. I have had to send all 3 back to DD.
The first gave an E0 error the moment it was turned on. It was used successfully for about 3 weeks before this problem started. The second unit has been used for about 4 weeks and was working fine but suddenly stopped heating, although it appears to be running.
The third unit was new in the unopened box until I opened it this evening to replace the second unit and find it has a deep gouge across the glass although there is no damage to either the unit box nor the shipping box DD sent it in. So quality control at the factory is poor.
Can't say how disappointed I am in this product.

in addition to my review . . . .
Posted March 1, 2013
I want to add, that had I reviewed this product when they first arrived, I would have given them a glowing report like many of the other reviewers. I think a review should be given after a reasonable time and frequent use as in my case, they were great to start with but didn't last outside a month.
It doesn't matter to me if you pay $40 or $100, if it doesn't go the distance then it's not worth anything.

Eurolab Induction Cooker Returned
I bought this product to use in our caravan. The product sounded interesting and the technology appealed. Unfortunately, when the product arrived and I read the instructions, it was clear that it was not suitable for outdoor use and required flat bottomed ferrous cookware. We only carry aluminium cookware in the van for weight reasons. Reluctantly I had to send the product back..No doubt I will be informed of a credit at some stage.
I must add that other Online vendors have a far superior returns policy.
